ACTIVITIES:
researches in physical and medical anthropology of the Uralic, Siberian and Northern European (Lapland) indigenous populations of Russia; anthropology and genetics of the populations of the Former Soviet Union and the Balkans.
SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
anthropology of nutrition; health consequences of "modernization"; socioeconomic and environmental stress influence on indigenous and migrant groups; physical anthropology.
